I think of every RhEAL formula I come up with as a self-portrait of my work ethic. I am as meticulous in sourcing high quality, safe and unique ingredients as I am thrilled to make each batch of product by hand from start to finish.

Our Story

RhEAL Cosmetics began in 2017, sparked by a mother’s love and a nurse’s curiosity. While still in nursing school, our founder began crafting natural products for her newborn son, who suffered from eczema and extremely sensitive skin. With just a few ingredients, research, and a whole lot of care, she created relief where store-bought solutions had failed.

After graduating in 2018, she entered the oncology field and began formulating for her patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiation. Many of them experienced severe skin and hair irritation, and the formulas she created became part of their healing process. Their encouragement, combined with the support of her community, laid the foundation for something greater.
Soon after, RhEAL Cosmetics and The RhEAL Spa were born.

Since then, our founder has:

Completed executive education through Harvard Business School
Earned her Cosmetic Chemistry Certification from Spelman College
Become a Professor of Esthetics, mentoring the next generation of skincare professionals
Continued to bridge science, holistic care, and beauty in every formula and treatment offered at RhEAL
